Do we need:
Chick-Fil-A billboards in front of Yosemite's El Capitan?
Radioactive
uranium mine tailings upstream from the Grand Canyon?
Shooting Grizzly Bears from
airplanes in Yellowstone?
Melting glaciers at Glacier National Park?
All of this and more and worse will come to pass.
(power
of suggestion?)
This author's father said when we visited National Parks,
"Always leave them nicer than you found them" as he would pick up a piece
of litter.
Do not loosen any restrictions regarding National Park's exploitation.
Fund
them fully.
Expand them.
Protect them.
They are precious World Heritage Sites and furthermore they belong to all the
people of America
(and corporations are not people!)
And just as importantly, they drive a tourism industry that is 7% of GDP and employes directly 10 million people.
Hands off!!!
